I recently had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the rooms were quite spacious and luxurious, the service left much to be desired. The location was excellent for exploring the city, but the dining options did not meet my expectations considering the price. Overall, it wasn't the best value for money given the issues I encountered during my stay.

The rooms were larger than usual with a huge bathroom featuring both a shower and a tub. The added bonus of a television in the bathroom mirror was a nice touch.

I had a really disappointing experience at this hotel. While the location was quite decent for access to various attractions, the overall cleanliness of the rooms and the quality of service left a lot to be desired. I also found the dining options to be subpar, both in variety and price. Although the facilities had potential, they weren't well-utilized, leading to an unsatisfactory stay for the amount I paid.

Our family's stay at the hotel was filled with both highlights and challenges. We were genuinely touched by the staff's kindness, especially during a stressful moment with our children. However, not all experiences were as positive, especially with some room issues reported by other guests. Overall, while we loved the thoughtful gestures, the inconsistency in the experience left us wanting more clarity on what to expect moving forward.

Rooms

The rooms were small but comfortable, and even if we had booked a king bed, the quiet ambiance allowed for a restful night.

7.6/10

The Marriott provided a pleasant stay overall with a clean and spacious room, but some aspects fell short of expectations, especially regarding breakfast options and recognition for loyalty status. The indoor pool was a highlight for my daughter’s birthday celebration, but the value for breakfast was not great, leaving us feeling slightly disappointed. However, the friendly staff and excellent amenities made our experience enjoyable.

Rooms
8.0
The room was clean and spacious with a huge bathroom, which made our stay comfortable. However, I was disappointed that no upgrade was available despite the hotel being mostly empty.
Service
8.0
The staff was friendly and attentive, especially at the spa, adding to our overall enjoyment. I felt the lack of recognition for our platinum member status was a letdown.
Location
9.0
The hotel is conveniently located, making it easy to access local attractions. It was a great spot for our short stay in Chicago.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was quite pricey for breakfast, especially since there was no kids' menu and we spent $100 without alcohol. It wasn't the best value for the cost.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed bag. The cleanliness and comfort of the rooms stood out, but the high price left me wanting more value for my money. While the service was friendly, there were noticeable shortcomings, particularly with room amenities. The location was a strong point, making it easy to navigate the city, but the dining experience didn't quite meet expectations, especially given the costs involved.

Rooms

The staff was friendly and attentive, but there were some gaps in communication regarding amenities like the executive lounge.
